And London City also has the highest proportion of low-income households. And the highest proportion of business travellers, most of them heading to the City, Docklands and the West End bringing little to the local economy. Isn't there a case to replace the airport with a development that would employ more local people and do more for the local economy without bringing the noise and pollution of the airport?
